Floor Refinishing

According to real estate professionals, refinishing a hardwood floor is one of the best investments you can make in your home.  A dated amber finish can be removed to allow the natural color of your wood floor to come through.  Or you may choose to have a different color stain applied.  In either case, a finishing sheen (gloss, semi-gloss or satin) is applied as the final step, giving you the look you want with that layer of wood protection. 

At Westside Hardwood Flooring, we use Duraseal stains for custom staining floors.  Duraseal currently offers 30 colors of stain.  We prefer to apply stain at your house on your floor so you can see what the stain will look like with your lighting and cabinets.  A small square on a sample at a home improvement store is a great place to start, but to not make a final decision.

We use a handful of manufacturers for the finish we apply to your floor. Minwax, Bona, Masterline, Duraseal, and Loba are just a few we use.  All are well-known finishes in the industry and offer a substantial warranty.

The Process

Dustless. Odorless. Done in a day.

We use industry leading tools that provide a dustless experience during the floor restoration process.  Depending upon the size of the job, this is usually a 1-day process for most homes.  The process renews the beauty of hardwood floors without the dust and mess of traditional floor refinishing.
